TURBO SONIDERO FUTURISTICO is beat-maker/producer Roman Zepeda. Born in San Jose, CA, he mixes the music of his Mexican roots with the music he grew up and was influenced by from the Bay Area. His music blends bass and cumbia, and is influenced by hip hop, dub and electronic music. He has gained much notoriety from international and local producers alike. One of the longest running dub & reggae parties in the U.S., possibly the world, DUB MISSION is a weekly Sunday night party based in San Francisco, presenting cutting-edge dub, roots reggae, dancehall and dubstep, and will celebrate its 14th anniversary this September 5th. Dub Mission won a San Francisco Bay Guardian Goldie award in the music category in 1999, and was nominated for Best Party in the 2004 Club World Awards. Dub Mission has featured artists from all over the world.
